Inspired by the traditional Japanese techniques of "maki-e" and "raden," these items were created to express the subdued gleam of gold and silver, along with the shine of shells and pearls within the lacquer's jet-black finish.
We wanted to incorporate Japanese craftsmanship and culture into fashion, so we created fabrics in Nishijin, Kyoto, and Bishu, Aichi.
To create a one-of-a-kind item, we emphasize handwork. Every piece in the cut Jacquard series is meticulously hand-cut.
