Inspired by the traditional Japanese techniques of "maki-e" and "raden," this item was created to express the subdued gleam of gold and silver, along with the shine of shells and pearls within the lacquer's jet-black finish.
We wanted to incorporate Japanese craftsmanship and culture into fashion, and we realized this vision with the shodo series, which features calligraphy applied to clothing.
To create a one-of-a-kind item, we emphasize handwork. The shodo series is hand-painted, representing a fusion of fashion and art.
